Wendell Barry had some pretty crazy ideas about religion and ecology. He was one of the three required textbooks in my Religion and Ecology class (remember you borrowed the white one for a long time?). Speaking of which, Wateloo inadvertently decided the choice of textbook for the university of Michigan, seeing as I was talking with my old neigbor Jim Crowfoot( dean of environmental science at U of M), and he mentioned that he's going to be teaching a religion and ecology course this fall. I mentioned my old text book, and guess what.....
Anyways, life's funny like that. You know what else is funny? Puttering with Ben Krause in Ann Arbor for the day. And introducing him to Mary Lindquists, who you, Barb J, and now Ben, have met at different times.
That, and everyone at Jia and Melissa's wedding independently believing that Annette and I are sisters.
